Top Issues & Positions

Why should you vote for Linda Kero?

I am proud to be the Democratic Candidate for Florida House, District 26.

I am Woman. Women’s rights to safe and legal healthcare are on the ballot! I am Pro Choice!

I was a union member and worked on a factory line for the first fifteen years of my working career. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I am Pro Union!

When the factory closed and moved off-shore, I earned my college degree in Business as a returning adult student with top grades. I earned a 3.68 GPA. I will work tirelessly to increase funding for Public Education in Florida!

I was the primary caregiver to our aging parents. That gave me insight into the difficulties of navigating Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. I will vote to Expand BOTH in Florida!

My second career was in Real Estate. My home projects have been from 750sq ft to 7000sq ft. I like to get my hands dirty! I have been on the Board of Directors for the Housing Authority in my community. I will work to restore the Sadowski Fund and help to create a solution to the affordable housing crisis.

I retired to Florida to enjoy the beautiful waterways and environment that Central Florida has to offer. I will fight for our Right to Clean Water and to protect the environment in Florida!

Linda Stands For:

Equality & Human Rights

Equality & Human Rights

“The power of the Universal Declaration is the power of ideas to change the world. It inspires us to continue working to ensure all people can gain freedom, equality and dignity."

Reproductive Rights

Reproductive Rights

The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade and eliminated our federal constitutional right to abortion. We need to do everything we can to protect abortion access.

End Gun Violence

End Gun Violence

Together, we must end gun violence. I endorse sensible firearm legislation like the bipartisan Safer Communities Act—the first major federal gun safety bill to pass the Senate in 26 years.

Environmental Protection

Environmental Protection

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) does not have the authority to mandate carbon emissions reductions delaying U.S. Climate Action.

A balanced educated is essential for prosperity. Therefore, I support teaching our nation's full history, increasing teachers' wages, and state-funded adult educational training programs.

Affordable Housing

Affordable Housing

Florida's Sadowski Act created a revenue source to fund Florida's affordable housing programs. If used for its true purpose, it will create over 36,000 jobs.
